About

kineticsthe description of motion in terms of position, velocity, and acceleration

Movement is an essential part of our everyday life, whether casually or athletically, our bodies thrive on it. The more efficient our movement the smoother we move, the easier we move and the faster we move.

We aim to educate you and your body in how to move properly and improve your physical kinetics. We can show you how to move more efficiently and be the best you can be, whether your goal is to go further, faster, higher, longer, compete or just complete. We can improve ability, performance and enjoyment of sports all whilst reducing the risk of injury, resulting in a healthier, happier and longer athletic life.

We relate to our clients needs because we’re athletes ourselves, so we know what you’re talking about when you come to us with your problems. Our comprehensive coaching approach is already helping a wide range of athletes, from those taking their first steps in sports to those competing at international level. We use personal biomechanical, nutritional and goal based assessments to inform each individuals training plans in order to tailor a programme that’s right for you.

We’re already helping others to be the best they can be so why not speak to us today to find out how we can help you!

Head Coach – Richard Foxley

Since he learnt to stand on his own two feet, Richard has been involved in sport one way or another.

Taking up karate aged just 5 years old he progressed to compete at international level as a teenager before making the decision to pursue his passion for basketball later in his teens. As a basketball player he played National League basketball for many years and again represented his country as a teenager. Eventually his interest in endurance sports won through and led him to triathlon in which he still actively competes today.

Richards interest in how our bodies function and adapt to sports made coaching a natural progression and his experience in a range of sports along with his coaching qualifications give him the knowledge and ability to help athletes from all kinds of backgrounds. He currently coaches with two triathlon clubs in Edinburgh as well as teaching regular Spinning classes.
